Growing up on a family-operated commercial hog farm, the
Skinner brothers could not help but develop a love for hog
production. Joining forces, Adam and Tim each carry distinct
responsibilities in their hog operation. Adam does the breeding,
farrowing and nursery pigs
in Safford, AZ, then the pigs are shipped to Tim in Buckeye,
AZ.
Tim handles the finishing and marketing of the end product. This
allows each brother to focus on his segment and increases the
proficiency of the entire operation.
Currently Skinner Show Pigs farrow 250 sows, which include
Yorkshire, Duroc, Landrace and cross-breds. Eddie Robinson in
Wellsville, MO custom breeds and farrows an additional 120 York
and Duroc sows for us. Because they farrow on a monthly basis,
the Skinner's have show pigs available for sale year round, At
both locations.
